The idea of the worldpeacemuseum springs from the fact that present day children and youth are unaware and ignorant of the dangers of war, existence of armies, defense expenditures all linked up with their daily life. War is not a particular time of exchange of gunfire or physical battles. It is happening every day. The value, priority and the practice of human hatred, greed, want possession, killing and destruction. It has created immense poverty, hunger, starvation, homelessness. Those who posses wage a war on those who do not relentlessly

In the last 5000 years of human history there have been only 150 years of peace. Rest of the days and years have been spent on killing each other. The History of Man is the history of War. Which means the dominant culture pervading our lives is the culture of Violence. No consent of the people is sought for the Practice of War. Mass manufacturing weapons of mass destruction, to eliminate, liquidate and devastate innocent people. Manipulating them to accept a war culture!

We urgently need a PEACE movement to put it to an end.

You and me and all of us who believe in PEACE. The journey will be especially lead by children and Youth along with Artists, Writers, filmmakers, Dancers, Musicians, Actors and creative people of the world.
The worldpeacemuseumis a string of beads of World Peace museums bound into a single chain. It will bring the body of work of the poet and the pacifist, the Artist and the saint, the propagandist and the Prophets of Peace to his/her knowledge . An understanding of the history War, cause of conflicts will develop a critical mind to the young reader and grow a culture of Peace.
It will profoundly display Artists, Musicians, Singers, Dancers, dramatists and people’s movements for Peace, It will showcase world artists with the body of their work. It will show peace performances and provide a forum for dialogue and discussions for creative expressions on the theme of Peace. The worldpeacemuseum will set up a global community which will think globally and act locally. Peace festivals and celebrations of peace will be organized to establish a new order of the CULTURE OF PEACE
